So here we are again, the end of another year. The nostalgic time of the year that makes you reflect on what happened, should have happened and could have happened in the past 365 days... The time to remove the rose tinted glasses!
This year was big. Big on changes, big on plans, just plain big!
What comes to mind when I think of 2012? Family, the ones that are among us, far away and the departed... Friends old and new whereever they may be... Adventures lived... Memories made... Wishes made upon the stars... Living life one day at a time...
Are there lessons learned from the things that didn't quite happen or measure up? The should-haves and could-haves of life? YES! Either because of fear, the opportunity slipping away, poor planning and sometimes just out of pure laziness... we have all been there! However, we can't just concentrate on the failures or the things that just didn't materialize in our lives. We need to learn from those experiences and try again.
Resolutions... Undue stress and unnecessary pressure if you think of them as a plain ol' list of things to do in the coming year. This year be more precise, make a plan and have a timeline... a goal in plain sight! Sometimes it just works out better that way and you will find that at the end of 2013 you will have more things crossed off your list than you could have imagined! This is how we try again!
I've got my plan in gear for the coming year and I am very excited for the opportunities that will come out as a result! Things to look forward to!
Thank you to the people that stood by me and held out a helping hand when I fell down and didn't think I could get up, when I didn't think I was good enough, or didn't think I was worthy enough... more times than I thought possible!
Thank you to the people that let me bounce ideas with them, ramble on about crazy dreams, and for keeping me grounded when the mind started to fly...
Thank you to the people that took a chance on me and let me into their lives at moments that are usually reserved for close family and friends...
Thank you for coming by and reading, even though most of the year the blog quiet and innactive...
Wishing everyone lots of
health
peace
mindfullness
and love in your lives.
May your 2013 be as great as you make it!
Happy New Year 2013!
See you next year ;)
Lot'sa Love!
